Take a half day away from the city for this one-of-a-kind leadership event. Escape to the Pines at Genesee  where you will focus on leading with intention, taking your leadership skills to the next level and working on self and team improvement. Dare to Lead™ core concepts include:

The 4-hour workshop is a streamlined version of the full 24-hour Dare  to Lead™ Curriculum based on the research by Dr. Brené Brown. The workshop experience includes some valuable pre-work, a highly collaborative and engaging workshop, and recommended follow up suggestions to deepen the learning experience.

This one of a kind workshop includes access to exclusive videos of Brené Brown, and a streamlined workbook to support self-reflection and group activities. There will also be an opportunity to network with your peers in the AAMD.

FEATURING BARB VAN HARE

Barb Van Hare is the CEO & Founder of Kinetic Clarity, a leadership and coaching firm dedicated to increasing productivity and positivity in the workplace. She has over twenty-five years’ experience as a leadership coach, talent development leader, and organizational change consultant with Fortune 500, mid-size, & small companies. Barb focuses individual, team, and organizational energy on leveraging strengths to improve performance and deliver results. She has a contagious enthusiasm for change, and an eye for finding and promoting positive deviance. She evokes meaning and purpose for powerful leaders.

Barb is a Faculty Member for the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and a Professional Certified Coach through the ICF. She has a Master of Arts Degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School, and Bachelor of Arts Degrees in International Studies and French from Willamette University. She has extensive consulting experience as a leader with Accenture and IBM Global Services. She deepened her leadership and organizational development skills as a Director of Talent Development for First Data and Director of Organization Effectiveness at twtelecom. She is based in Denver, Colorado.

Each general admission pass includes one ticket to attend, lunch, attendee goodie bag, Dare to Lead™ book and a ticket to the networking happy hour from 5-6pm.
