Maintenance Olympics

The Maintenance Olympics celebrates multi-family maintenance professionals. Through educational seminars and competitions, this event enhances and builds critical skills for the industry’s top maintenance personnel. The Maintenance Olympics allows service technicians to “show their stuff,” engaging in challenging but fun competitions with other maintenance representatives for various awards and titles.

Our maintenance professionals will compete for the prestigious “We Hammered ‘Em” Award and a ticket to compete in NAA’s National Maintenance Mania!

Education Conference & Trade Show

May 24, 2017 | Denver Mart | Presented by Wyatts Towing & Drain-O-Rooter

The Trade Show & Education Conference is the largest, most significant event of the year, providing supplier members with a prime opportunity to show off their products and services to those who need it most.

The Trade Show also offers a wide range of educational programs for the on-site and corporate management attendees. These sessions are instructed by nationally and locally talented speakers and the useful topics always draw a large crowd.

June Awards & Hall of Fame Dinner

The June Awards Celebration recognizes the outstanding achievements of AAMD members for their volunteerism and dedication to our various committees and programs. This special evening honors the hard work of committee chairs, council leadership and Board of Directors, who have gone “above and beyond” with their volunteer efforts.

During this dinner, we induct our new board and formally install the new President for the coming year!

Golf Tournament

The Annual Golf Tournament has proven to be one of the longest running and most enjoyable events that AAMD offers its members. In 2015, the tournament celebrated its 30th year of success in providing one of the best opportunities for corporate and property personnel, as well as suppliers, to become acquainted and to build valuable relationships while enjoying a relaxed, easy-going game of golf.

Business to Business Exchange

Business-to-Business is a cost effective way for vendors to meet key decision makers from numerous management companies.  It is also an efficient way for owners to learn about a variety of vendor companies and the products they offer.

This networking event is a fundraising initiative for the AAMD Alliance, which allows our industry to have a stronger voice in the legislative and electoral process in Colorado.

Chili Cookoff

Celebrate Fall, tasty chili, and a good old-fashioned get together at AAMD’s Chili Cook Off. The annual Chili Cook Off has become one of AAMD’s most fun and entertaining events. Great music, beverages, awards, kid’s games, and unsurpassed networking opportunities in a casual environment are all part of what have made this family event such a tremendous success!

PowerLunch

AAMD's PowerLunches are held monthly from August through April (excluding December) with an average attendance of 200 people, including some of the key decision makers in the industry, and is planned to Impact, Influence and Inspire with speakers from within and outside the industry.

Supplier's Council

Free, monthly meetings that are specifically focused on providing education and networking opportunities to AAMD's valued Supplier Members.

Independent Rental Owner Council (IROC) Forums

Monthly (excl. Nov. & Dec.) | AAMD Education Center | Annual Sponsor: ARA Newmark

IROC members comprise the largest segment of AAMD's membership with over 400 companies.  These forums are designed for property management companies and individuals with fewer than 250 units, providing educational and networking benefits.

AAMD Orientation

Every Other Month | AAMD Education Center

If your company is a new member, you are a new employee of an existing member, or you've been around for a while but would like to get more involved, AAMD's Orientation will help get you started.  After a brief presentation and Q&A period about the Association, you'll have the opportunity to meet the staff, ambassadors and other AAMD members.

Roundtables

Brainstorm and network with other AAMD members in a roundtable format, designed around current industry trends and formatted for interesting and topical discussion.  Roundtables vary in number of people and sessions, and are invite-only, but please contact us at 303-329-3300 to make sure we have your information on file so you can be included.

Annual Charity Events

Charity Auction

Take part in this wonderful opportunity at the Charity Auction to advertise your business while helping the families of honored AAMD Member, Family Homestead.  All proceeds from the donated auction items will go to benefit Family Homestead, a private, non-profit agency whose mission is to provide emergency and transitional housing to Denver's Homeless families.

Spring Clean

Join premier AAMD members in one of AAMD’s most fun and rewarding events on Family Homestead’s properties. Provide your services, donate materials or funds, or simply volunteer your time and hard work to beautify Family Homestead properties.

Attendees are welcome and encouraged to take the day off or send your entire team to volunteer at one of several Family Homestead properties that we will be working on clean-up and repair projects. It’s fun to meet your industry colleagues and work together as a team for a great cause!
