Next Level Pool Maintenance Training is a hands-on class designed to help pool staff build stronger maintenance skills. The training covers key topics such as how to test water, basic chemical care for pools and hot tubs, and daily upkeep tasks. Participants will also learn to identify and operate pump room equipment, handle basic troubleshooting, and understand important safety and legal responsibilities. This course gives staff the tools they need to keep pools running safely and smoothly.

Topics include:

  • Water Testing
  • Swimming Pool and Hot Tub Basic Chemical Programs
  • Daily Maintenance
  • Basic Pump Room ID and Equipment Operation
  • Basic Pump Room Equipment Troubleshooting
  • Basic Safety and Legal Liability

The Pool Doctor

Craig has been the co-owner/operator of Pool Doctor since 2005. A University of Iowa graduate (BA Communication Studies) and Association of Pool and Spa Professionals Certified Service Pro (APSP’s highest certification), Craig is an avowed egghead who actually likes the chemistry/math/electrical knowledge that it takes to really understand pools and spas.

A top National Swimming Pool Foundation Instructor (CPO) Craig has taught thousands of students in Colorado over the years and loves to teach and train people how to make swimming safer and healthier.
