Rules for Administering Denver Green Roofs Ordinance Available for Public Comment

As we (Denver Community Planning & Development) prepare to implement the Denver Green Roofs Ordinance beginning January 1, we have drafted a "rules and regulations" document to help guide CPD's administration of the ordinance. 

The draft rules and regulations aim to clarify key terms and requirements of the ordinance as adopted by voters, and help explain what types of projects must have green roof coverage and which are exempt or able to request a variance.
